Robert Duvall In Talks to Join Tom Cruise in 'One Shot'

It's the 'Days of Thunder' reunion you never knew you wanted! Variety reports that Robert Duvall is in final negotiations to join Tom Cruise in 'One Shot' for director Christopher McQuarrie. Duvall's role in the film has not been specified, but it reportedly is very important to Cruise's character Cole Trickle Jack Reacher. 'One Shot' is based on the novel series by Lee Child, about a six-foot-five policeman-turned-drifter (Cruise; lolz) investigating a sniper accused of killing five people.
